Job Summary

As a Senior Test Development Engineer, you will be focused on developing high quality test solutions that involves load board/probe card schematic design, defining and managing PCB layout requirements, test program development, debug, correlation, spike check, qualification/characterization activities to meeting High Volume Manufacturing release timelines. The development work can be in the form of ATE test platform conversions, Test Time reductions, yield enhancement, multisite expansions or new silicon test solutions.

Job Description

• Establish good working relationship with customer to get pertinent technical information vital to do the Test Development job, during the development and also during the solution hand-over

• To develop test plans & test strategies

• To design test schematics, work closely with PCB designers to ensure adherence to layout requirements

• To develop test programs using best practices

• To debug test programs and test hardware to achieve a correlated solution

• Work with the customer to qualify test solutions into high volume manufacturing

• Able to apply best practices to ensure optimized test throughput via multisites or test time or both

• To provide training on test fundamentals and basic tester applications

• To write application notes or white papers about new or useful test methodologies

• Continuously up skills on new test technologies in the form of new tester platforms or new test instrumentations or new test methodologies

• Mentor to junior engineers to bring them up to speed to execute their tasks

• Lead improvement projects to continuously enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation
